If you have chest pains, or are breathless, telephone the surgery immediately. Inform the receptionist clearly of your symptoms, Alternatively telephone 999.
Appointments can be made by telephone on 01444 242860/246262 between 8.30 am and 6 pm Monday to Fridays. For routine appointments please give as much notice as possible. If your problem is urgent you will be seen by a doctor the same day, however, this may not be with your usual doctor.
Please note the doctor of your choice may be unavailable either on holiday or study leave.
Please do everything you can to keep your appointment and inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend for your appointment. If you arrive later than your appointment time the doctor may ask to see you at the end of surgery. If we are running late, please bear with us – on another occasion it may be you who needs the extra time.
On the majority of occasions, the doctor will see patients promptly. Please remember that there may be times when a doctor has to leave to attend an emergency or the doctor may need to give additional time in surgery to a patient because of the nature of the problem he/she presents with. If this should happen an explanation will be available from the receptionist.
To Book an appointment
Ring the surgery between opening times to make an appointment with the doctor or nurse.
(patients are advised that we record calls for training purposes)
Alternatively you can make an appointment for the doctors only online on https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk To use this facility you will need to register your details with the surgery. Please ask the receptionist for an application form.
When you arrive at the surgery for your appointment you can check in, in one of two ways:
- Using our touch-screen self check-in system (if blank screen, just touch screen to start)
- By reporting to the reception
