Macmillan Cancer Support

Cedar Room at Princess Royal Hospital

The Cedar Room can be found in the main Outpatients department at the hospital, open every Monday from 1pm - 5pm. It's a local place for patients, their families and friends to come to for a variety of free booklets and leaflets. The information covers different cancer types, treatments and side effects, as well as financial and emotional issues.

There is also a lending library of books that help parents and grandparents explain their cancer to children.

The Cedar Room is also linked to the Macmillan Horizon Centre in Brighton which offers a walk-in or telephone Information and Support Service for people affected by cancer across Sussex.
